A buffer solution (more precisely, pH buffer or hydrogen ion buffer) is an aqueous solution consisting of a mixture of a weak acid and its conjugate base, or vice versa. A solution with a set pH value of 10.00 to be used for calibration of pH meters, monitors and controllers. The purple colour for easy pH buffer value identification NIST traceable and supplied with a Certificate of Analysis.
